These circles started all the way back in 2016 I only initially made three little circles as I was experimenting with collage and textiles. I didn't get much feedback from them so they just stayed put, as I got on with my uni work for my BA.

I have always admired them and had them up on my wall. So after a long time, I have finally began to to revisit this idea and push it to see where I can take it. I am thoroughly enjoying the process and outcomes.

Custom commission. Purple, blue and gold water colour and ink circle. Inspired by the milky way, hand stitched and embellished with glass beads, hand punched sequins, metallic thread.

4 inch circle - Abstract watercolour and ink on paper, hand embroidered and embellished using hand punched sequins, straws and repurposed glass beads.
